IMADR is an international human rights NGO with special consultative status with the UN. It was founded in 1988 by one of Japan’s largest minorities, the Buraku people. IMADR is a global network of concerned individuals and groups devoted to eliminating discrimination and racism, forging international solidarity among discriminated groups and advancing the international human rights system.
