An "infodemic" is an overaboundance of information – some accurate, some not. It makes it difficult to find trustworthy information in times of need. To address this phenomenon, the World Health Organization organizes on 29 June its first Infodemiology Conference to discuss how to manage it and help people find reliable sources of information when they require it.
