Der Verein SOS MEDITERRANEE Schweiz wurde im August 2017 gegründet und ist Teil des europäischen Netzwerks SOS MEDITERRANEE, welches 2015 gegründet wurde. Seit ihrer ersten Mission im Februar 2016 haben die Teams der Aquarius und der SOS MEDITERRANEE 29.523 Menschen unterstützt.
