Perception Change Project (PCP)
The Perception Change project is a collective effort to show the relevance and impact of the work of Geneva-based International Organizations. Through different projects, we communicate in innovative ways about the work done collectively in Geneva to further peace, rights and well-being.
Launched in early 2014 by Michael Møller, former Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva, the project is based at the Office of the Director-General. It is run by a small team, headed by Aziyadé Poltier-Mutal.
It has brought over 100 partners together, with the key support of the Swiss Confederation, Republic and State of Geneva and City of Geneva. Swiss-based media intelligence company MediaTenor has provided media coverage analytics and strategic insight.
We strive to broaden the overall understanding of the relevance of International Geneva through concerted outreach efforts with partners. We use a fresh approach to engage with media, work on innovative communications projects and we drive joint initiatives and events. The project has managed to mobilize a network of change-makers who understand that business as usual is no longer a viable solution and that we need to work together to achieve more concrete results.
