University of Geneva - UNIGE
The University of Geneva is an institution devoted to research, teaching and dialogue. It is the site of academic creativity and the transmission of knowledge. Since its foundation in 1559 the UNIGE has developed ever higher ethical standards and steadily increased in quality and the will to innovation. Today it is one of Europe’s leading universities.
The Global Studies Institute was established in 2013. An interdisciplinary approach to the study of international and regional relations is privileged at the GSI in order to better investigate and understand the new complex challenges of the contemporary world as a whole.
The University of Geneva offers continuing education programmes on a variety of subjects, including International and Humanitarian Affairs, Law, Economics and Management, Environment and Sustainable Development, Languages, Cultures and Civilizations, Translation and Interpretation.
