April 24, 2019 marked the first International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace. Almost to the day, in 1919, the Republic and Canton of Geneva announced to the people of Geneva that the Paris Peace Conference had designated Geneva as the seat of the League of Nations. This decision will mark the take-off of International Geneva. Here, President Wilson reads, in plenary session of the Peace Conference, the League's draft Covenant in the Salon de l'Horloge at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
