On 9 September 2021, the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) will hold the "European virtual roundtable #3 - Collaborating for impact: cancer research that changes lives". This peaceful portrait was taken, by Paolo Pellegrin, in an oncological dispensary in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2005. This lady "recovered from a remission from stage 4 lymphosarcoma after 6 cycles of chemotherapy."

On 11 May 2021, to mark the 150th anniversary of the Central Tracing Agency (CTA), the ICRC and the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) organize the high-level online discussion "Transforming the global response for missing persons" with the participation of Ignazio Cassis, Federal Councilor, and head of the FDFA and Peter Maurer, President of the ICRC. This moving scene of a reunited family took place in July 2016 in the Makamba province, Burundi.

On Wednesday, 3 March, the IUCN will host two Ministerial panels on Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for Recovery.
