23 January 2023
Teaser Since 2018, the 24 January marks the International Day of Education. It is the occasion to remind that the first Declaration of the Rights of the Child, known as the Declaration of Geneva, was adopted a hundred years ago, recognizing the existence of specific rights for children and that "humanity must give the child the best it has." This portrait of Somali girls at school was taken in the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya, in 2016, by Magnum photographer Newsha Tavakolian.
