The purpose of the NCCI is to provide a forum for collective NGO activity to enhance the effectiveness of humanitarian action in Iraq at the national level."

"The Press Emblem Campaign (PEC) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) with Special consultative UN status. The PEC, founded in June 2004 by a group of journalists from several countries, based in Geneva, is an international independent nonprofit and non-governmental organization. It aims at strengthening the legal protection and safety of journalists in zones of conflict and civil unrest or in dangerous missions. The PEC is in favor of a new international convention to improve the protection of media.

"The Small Arms Survey is an independent research project located at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. It serves as the principal international source of public information on all aspects of small arms and armed violence and as a resource for governments, policy-makers, researchers, and activists."  

"The Court of Conciliation and Arbitration within the OSCE, which has its seat in Geneva, was established in 1995 by the Convention on Conciliation and Arbitration within the OSCE (Stockholm Convention) in order to settle, by means of conciliation and, where possible, arbitration, disputes which may arise between States Parties to the Convention. To date, 34 States have accepted the jurisdiction of this Court.

"Grains of Peace is a Swiss NGO with an international perspective, founded in 2005 in Geneva. Its areas of expertise are peace education, peace culture and intercultural understanding. It designs and produces pedagogical materials and uses these in school- and out-of-school settings. It trains trainers, teachers and educators, including in post-conflict countries. Locally, it organises workshops, activities and events for the public. On the net, it proposes an innovative website, with free resources for all publics (over 650'000 visits from 184 countries since 2006)."

"The Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines and on Their Destruction is the cornerstone of the international effort to end the suffering and casualties caused by anti-personnel (AP) mines. The Convention was adopted on 18 September 1997 and it entered into force on 1 March 1999. As of 1 January 2014, 161 states had joined the Convention."
